Our company joined the "Post-50 Internship Programme" which organised by Employees Retraining Board and Labour Department.

We provided short-term internship opportunities for people aged 50 or above who have left the workplace but still have the desire and ability to find a job, and who want to change careers, to help them understand the current situation of the job market, equip them with work skills and adjust their mentality to re-enter the workplace.

The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) held the “50th Anniversary Gala Dinner” at Convention Hall of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 4 December 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its inception. More than 500 guests attended the Gala Dinner, including HKICPA members, officials of the Governments of HKSAR and the Mainland, representatives from fellow professional bodies, commercial chambers and academia, and more.

Association of Chinese Internal Auditors held the “Greater Bay Area Accounting and Finance Exchange” on 20 June 2023 and 21 June 2023.

The Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors (“SCAA”) has reached its 110th anniversary in 2023. To celebrate this historic occasion, SCAA held “110th Anniversary Celebration Dinner” on 19 May 2023 and Keynote Seminars of 2nd World Chinese Accountants Conference on 20 May 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Government officials, representatives of major professional bodies and professional accountants from Hong Kong, Greater China and different countries joined the anniversary celebration.

The Society of Chinese Accountants & Auditors and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants were co-hosting the CPA Sports Carnival 2023, on 7 May 2023 at the Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground, 8 Fu Hong Street, Siu Sai Wan. The event themed “Happy香港 • 活力CPA”.

Our director, Mr. K T Tam represented The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to join the event and ACCA got the 2nd runners up among the accounting associations and Mr. Tam is the champion of 60 metres and 100 metres and the individual champion of the over 55 years old age group.

Active Engagement and Integration Project (AEIP) is the first overseas initiative of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). AEIP provides free pre-landing support services abroad in order to better support the settlement, adaptation and integration of individuals moving to Canada.

Our director, Mr. Joseph Yau, had the pleasure to be invited again by AEIP to deliver a speech on the topic of "Canadian Taxation Guidance" in United Conference Centre on 22 Apr 2023. All attendees have a better understanding on Canadian taxation.

Our director, Mr. Joseph Yau, was invited by HKMC Annuity to join a Breakfast Talk on "Happy Retire. Happy Staff" to understand staff well being beyond employment on 20 Apr 2023.

The MD Award Scheme has been launched by the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) since 2009 to recognize organizations which have demonstrated outstanding achievements in manpower training and development. With a view to recognising the exemplary and continuous achievements of MDs in manpower training and development, an upgrading mechanism was introduced in 2019-20. Current MDs that have been granted the award status for 10 consecutive years will be acknowledged as “Super MDs”. The validity period will be extended from two years to five years. Until now, a total of 147 MDs that have been acknowledged as “Super MDs”.

We joined the "ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme" 2022-23 and granted the award status for 10 consecutive years were acknowledged as “Super MDs” with the validity period from April 2023 to March 2028.

Our director, Mr. Joseph Yau, attended a seminar on global market currency trends and development prospects in the Greater Bay Area to help enterprises seize the region’s opportunities which was held by Hang Seng Bank on 29 March 2023.

Along with Hang Seng Bank representatives’ sharing about trends in “de-dollarization”, the “internationalization” of the Renminbi and the latest digital payment solutions, Principle Partner of CWK Global’s Tax and Advisory Department also shared the latest tax system and incentives in the Greater Bay Area, enabling enterprises to better understand tax planning in the region.

The Association of International Accountant (“AIA”) Hong Kong Branch reached its 50th anniversary in 2023. The Hong Kong branch holds the honour of being the first overseas branch for AIA which was founded in 1973. Our late Mr. Richard C K Yau was the founder member of Hong Kong Branch.

AIA Hong Kong Branch held its “Annual Dinner 2023 cum Branch 50th Anniversary Celebration” on 24 March 2023 to celebrate this historic occasion.
